15 – Suitable only for 15 years and over no one younger than 15 may see a ‘15’ film in a cinema. 

No one younger than 15 may rent or buy a ‘15’ rated video work. 


Discrimination 

The work as a whole must not endorse discriminatory 

language or behaviour. 

Drugs 

Drug taking may be shown but the film as a whole must not 

promote or encourage drug misuse. The misuse of easily 

accessible and highly dangerous substances (for example, 

aerosols or solvents) is unlikely to be acceptable. 

Horror 

Strong threat and menace are permitted unless sadistic 

or sexualised. 

Imitable behaviour 

Dangerous behaviour (for example, hanging, suicide and 

self-harming) should not dwell on detail which could be 

copied. Easily accessible weapons should not be glamorised. 

Language 

There may be frequent use of strong language (for example, 

‘fuck’). The strongest terms (for example, ‘cunt’) may be 

acceptable if justified by the context. Aggressive or repeated 

use of the strongest language is unlikely to be acceptable. 

Nudity 

Nudity may be allowed in a sexual context but without 

strong detail. There are no constraints on nudity in a 

non-sexual or educational context. 

Sex 

Sexual activity may be portrayed without strong detail. 

There may be strong verbal references to sexual behaviour, 

but the strongest references are unlikely to be acceptable 

unless justified by context. Works whose primary purpose is 

sexual arousal or stimulation are unlikely to be acceptable. 

Theme 

No theme is prohibited, provided the treatment is 

appropriate for 15 year olds. 

Violence 

Violence may be strong but should not dwell on the infliction 

of pain or injury. The strongest gory images are unlikely to 

be acceptable. Strong sadistic or sexualised violence is also 

unlikely to be acceptable. 

There may be detailed verbal references to sexual violence 

but any portrayal of sexual violence must be discreet and 

have a strong contextual justification. 

"Faces Of Evil" - Working screenplay

Shot 1:
Dark ambient music comes in then using the flicker on effect the words "Dark Lightning productions" with lightning bolt going through the name while lightning sound effect comes in. While dark and productions are in red writing and lightning is white. 

Shot 2:
The same dark music while the same flicker on effect comes up with the words "Presents a Martha Lucas and Collette Connor film" with the colour red on the words "presents a" and "And Collette" while the white is on "Martha Lucas" and "Connor film." Dark music still plays. 

Shot 3:
This is a long shot of two teenage girls walking towards the camera talking. (non diegetic music continues).

Shot 4:
Mid - shot as a effect comes in and the female on the left of the screen acts normal as the female protagonist on the right changes into black clothing looking dark and mysterious. (non diegetic music continues. 

Shot 5:
Mid - shot continues as the it changes back to normal as they talk while non diegetic dark music still plays. Walking towards the camera more. 

Shot 6:
Mid - shot still continues as the two gils walk closer to the camera, as the blink and strobe effect comes back while the mysterious figure come back into the shot. (non diegetic music plays).

Shot 7:
Cuts to a close up of mysterious female protagonist in black clothing with a mask round her mouth. Zooming up to her eye with a blurred effect. (non diegetic music plays).

Shot 8:
Zooms into her eye more using the effect dip to colour dissolve which makes the screen dissolve into white then goes back and we see a close up of the mysterious girls eye. Extreme close up of eyes (non diegetic dark music still plays).

Shot 9:
Cuts to a bench as the two girls walk on to the shot (non diegetic music continues).  

Shot 10: 
Zooms in as they go into and sit onto the bench going into a mid - shot of them looking around, one female on the left and the female protagonist on the right. (non diegetic sound plays till the end of the shot. 

Shot 11:
Close up of face of soon to be female victim while she says, "Where's Martha she meant to be here by now." (diegetic sound). 

Shot 12:
Close up on the female protagonist face while she says, "I know right she should call by now." (diegetic sound). Stays a close up as phone rings (diegetic sound).

Shot 13:
Extreme close up of phone as it rings showing the name "Martha" (diegetic sound).

Shot 14:
Cuts back to close up of female protagonist, phone stops ringing as she says, "Oh look it's Martha" (diegetic sound). 

Shot 15:
Close up of female victim again as she says, "Talk of the devil" (diegetic sound)

Shot 16:
Cut to female protagonist picking up the phone and puts the phone to her ear and says, "Hello"
(diegetic sound)

Shot 17:
Cut to a direct view of them both sitting down, the female protagonist says, "Alright see you a minute bye" takes the phone away from the her ear and down then turns to female victim and says, "Martha says she is up that way should i go get her" does a pointing motion to the left of her. Female victim says, "Yeah sure." Female protagonist then answers saying, "Do you want to wait here or come with me." Female victim says, "I'll wait here" female protagonist then says, "Alright then see you in the minute." Female victim says, "bye" as the camera does a tracking shot following her walking away. 

Shot 18: 
Cuts to a direct view again of the female victim sitting on the bench, while non diegetic sound comes in with a blurred effect. 

Shot 19: 
Stays at same camera place as non diegetic sounds plays while female protagonist comes out from behind the female victim as she slowly moves towards her. (non diegetic dark music plays).

Shot 20:
Point of view shot of female protagonist from behind the female victim with same blur effect as the shot before (non diegetic music plays).

Shot 21:
Quick direct view of female protagonist swinging a stick to hit female victim (non diegetic music plays). 

Shot 22:
Point of view shot of female victim as she falls on to the bench turning to look at her attacker which is the female protagonist. (non diegetic suspense music plays).

Shot 23:
Non diegetic music stops as the direct view shot looks at the female protagonist as she stands over female victim, then throws object on the ground all in slow motion.

Shot 24:
Cuts to a mid shot of female protagonist as she starts to spin in slow motion and non diegetic music starts to play.

Shot 25:
Goes to a point of view shot of female protagonist looking up at the sky and trees in sight (non diegetic tense music plays).

Shot 26:
Changes back to mid shot of female protagonist now knowing that her friend is the killer, female protagonist is wearing two pink tops in this shot. 

Shot 25:
Non diegetic music plays until the female protagonist stops spinning releasing her friend is dead, then puts her hands onto her face and then the non diegetic music stops. The camera quickly zooms out as she moves to the females victim body. She then screams, "Jade, Jade, Jade." As she says this the words "Faces of evil" comes up with the effect flicker on, while the same non diegetic music at the start begins to play. The screen goes black just with the writing "Faces of Evil."

Location

Our location was set in Bostall woods, we chose this location as it seemed casual and spacious however it is a public woods so we had to make sure the area was clear of the public.
